My Story
I myself, at 17 years old, spent a year abroad, and it changed my life. It was a transformative experience that opened many doors for me and gave me a completely new perspective on the world.
I went through all the phases that international students experience: the initial excitement of arriving in a new country, the adjustment period and the difficulties that come with adapting, and finally the personal growth and confidence that develops when you overcome those challenges. Years later, I came to work in Ireland, hired by a software company. Living and working here gave me a deep understanding of what it really means to spend a year in Ireland, not only as a student, but also as a professional.
For some time now, I have wanted to help young people live an experience as wonderful as the one I had. That is why we created Year in Ireland: to offer an honest and complete guide about what it is really like to spend a year in Ireland, whether studying at a boarding school, working, or doing internships.
